vote in honor                      of a veteran

Vietnam Veterans of America, Vermont State Council and all of its chapters are proud to take part in this Honor a Veteran with Your Vote.   This program was in effect two years ago (1999) in other states, we called the Secretary of State and asked why we didn't have this progam here in Vermont.  I am very glad to say that she listened to our request and has gotten the program started this election year (2001).

On June 14th, 2001 we had the kick off announcement on the lawn of the State Capital in Montpelier at 1:00 PM.

What is VOTE IN HONOR OF A VETERAN, this program provides Vermont citizens with the opportunity to honor those who have proudly served this country in the military by recognizing their important contributions in keeping our democracy strong and ensuring that we can cast a ballot each election day.

How do you do that:  If you click here you will get a form that you can print and  fill out with the information about the veteran who you want to HONOR and mail it to the address listed on form.
